All the answers to your questions about purchasing tickets and attending our educator training sessions.

Can my whole team watch an online training session on one ticket?

No. You will need to purchase a ticket for every team member you would like to attend. Each attendee will be able to log-in on their own computer.

If you would like to use the training session at a team meeting (ie, all watching on one computer) we can offer team discounts. Please contact us at [email protected] to discuss pricing and options.

Can I organise private training for my team?

Yes, absolutely! Our experienced trainers offer a range of training tailored to the needs of your Early Childhood Education or OOSH service.

What if the session I want to attend sells out?

We always recommend booking early to avoid disappointment. However, if the session does sell out, Please contact us at [email protected] to let us know.

Make sure you subscribe to our newsletter and stay connected via our website and Facebook page for our next training calendar sessions.

If this is a session your team wanted to attend, visit the Team Training page and fill out the booking form – we arrange a time that suits you, or arrange an on-site session if you’re located in Sydney or Melbourne!

 

Is there a waitlist if a session is sold out?

When a session gets sold out, we’ll open a waitlist ‘RSVP’ on the session page for you to register your interest in case a position becomes available.

 

Can I get a refund?

A full refund can be organised with at least 7 day’s notice before the training session. Contact us at [email protected] for more information.

 

Can someone else attend in my place if I can’t make the training session?

Yes, someone else can attend the training session in your place. You can change the participants details.

 

Why won’t the ‘Get Tickets’ button work when I try to order?

Make sure you select the number of tickets you want to purchase before clicking the ‘Get Tickets’ button.

 

Why do I have to create an ‘account’ to register for training?

Creating an ‘account’ keeps all your information together including your orders and downloads that may be provided with training sessions.

Growing Potential and Children First Training will not have access to your passwords or credit card details – you can update your details at any time and complete a ‘password reset’ if you forget it.

 

Do you provide any free training?

Yes, from time-to-time. To ensure you receive notifications of free training, subscribe to our newsletter and stay connected via our website and Facebook page.

 

How do I access the free Children First tickets?

These are only accessible for Educators employed by Growing Potential at our Children First services.

You need to use the coupon code and your Children First email address at checkout to access the free tickets.

If you don’t know your coupon code, please speak to your manager or visit the Staff Portal.

Will I get a ticket/confirmation of my booking?

Yes, you will receive an invoice direct to your inbox as soon as you make the booking. This will come from [email protected], so please add this email address to your contacts to ensure the email does not go to your junk folder.

 

Will I receive an invoice and how will I get it?

You will receive an invoice when your order has been completed on our end – this may take up to a week.

Check your inbox for an email with the subject line: “Your Children First Training order is now complete”, with your itemised order.

The above email will also contain links to any downloadable documents that may be relevant to your training session. You can also view these in your ‘account’.

 

Why didn’t I receive a confirmation email?

Please check your junk folder. The tickets will come from [email protected], so please add this email address to your contacts to ensure the email does not go to your junk folder.

If you still can’t find the confirmation email, you may have entered the wrong email address, or not completed the booking process or another reason – please contact [email protected] and we will look into it for you.

 

How will I receive tickets to the training session?

Tickets will be sent to the email address that you put on the booking form. You should receive this straight after you book.

If you have booked on behalf of other attendees, they will also receive tickets on the email address that you provide on the ‘attendee details’ section, prior to checkout.

The tickets will come from [email protected], so please add this email address to your contacts to ensure the email does not go to your junk folder.

  

How do I access online training sessions?

You will receive a Zoom link and password to join the training session on your emailed ticket, straight after you pay and register.

This link will be sent from [email protected], to the email address you use to make the booking.

 

How do I find the ‘downloads’ / documents that I should receive?

Check your inbox for an email with the subject line: “Your Children First Training order is now complete” – this will contain links to any downloadable documents that may be relevant to your training session.

You can also view documents for all booked training in the ‘Downloads’ section of your ‘account’.

 

Will I receive reminder emails?

Yes, you will receive an email 2 days before the training session, and 1 hour before it starts including the link to online sessions or address/contact details for face-to-face sessions.

You may also receive other emails relevant to the training session if there are any changes or updates that you need to know.

 

Who do I contact if I can’t make the session?

Please contact [email protected] if you can’t attend the session.

We offer these options if you can’t attend:

  • You can transfer your ticket to another person up to 2 hours prior to the session.
  • If you would like a refund, you will need to let us know 7 days prior to the session for a full refund. Please refer to our refund policy.

Is the ticket reflective of my time zone?

Tickets are issued in Australian Eastern Standard Time (AEST). Please be sure to cross check your time zone to ensure you log on according to the AEST timezone.

 

What if I am attending from Interstate or from overseas?

Will I receive notes for the training session?

Yes, you will receive notes for all our training sessions after the training session.

 

Can I receive a copy of the recording to listen to later?

Generally, no. Not all our live sessions are recorded. This is to respect and protect the training presenter’s IP. Where sessions are recorded, they are only shared in extenuating circumstances.

 

Will I receive a certificate of participation?

Yes, all registered participants will receive a certificate of participation after the training session, unless otherwise stated.

 

How long will it take for me to receive my certificate?

You will receive your certificate via email within 1 week of attending a training session.

If you have not received your certificate after a week, please check your ‘junk’ email folder.

If it is not there either, please inform us at [email protected].

 

How can I give feedback on the session?

After attending a session, you will receive a short feedback survey link via email.

We really appreciate and value your feedback and use it for our continuous improvement.
