Mindfulness for Children

21 March | 7:00 pm - 8:00 pm

Virtual Event Virtual Event
$45.00

Wellness and wellbeing play a vital role in all of our daily lives and is just as important for children. We are now seeing the stresses of recent years impacting on children’s mental health in various ways. Introducing and embedding mindfulness into children’s daily lives and routines can assist in supporting them to learn how to self-regulate through mindfulness, which is an important life-skill that children can carry throughout their lives.

Learning Outcomes:

  • Explore the benefits of mindfulness for children;
  • Explore mindfulness experiences we can share with children and embed in their daily routines;
  • Identify and discuss the importance of building the families understanding and confidence, to ensure they have the opportunity to implement mindfulness in the home environment too.

Training Presenter: Kirralea Lyneham – Children First Training
