It’s coming to the end of year and you’ve been asked to create a summative assessment for each child, arghh, Help!

Many educators are overwhelmed by the thought of this process, thinking “we already do so much! Observations, photos, daily program, reflections, extending and analysing, why this too?”

Let’s unpack what a summative assessment is, the reason why we write it and together develop some skills to minimise stress in creating a summative assessments for each child.
