Sustainability in OOSH

Sustainability in School Age Care: 

This 3 hr workshop will assist you to implement the National Quality Standards in your  service in regards to sustainability.

COAG explains in their Green Skills Agreement “Skills for sustainability, also known as green skills, are the technical skills, knowledge, values and attitudes needed in the workforce to develop and support sustainable social, economic and environmental outcomes in business, industry and the community.”

  • Quality Area 3 of the National Quality Standards relates to the Physical Environment and Element 3.2.3 states “The service cares for the environment and supports children to become environmentally friendly”
  • Because it Matters will assist you to implement the National Quality Standards in your service in regards to sustainability, specifically in relation to Quality Area 3
  • We will provide both our knowledge and some fun hands on experiences to assist you in being sustainable within your School Age Care service

Morning tea will be provided.
