Culture counts! During this team training session, we look at the importance of embedding a positive workplace culture.
We will explore the basic concept of workplace culture, what a positive workplace culture looks like and how our workplace culture impacts not only educators, but also children and their families.
We unpack Quality Area 4, with a particular focus on Professionalism and explore the concept of Being, Belonging and Becoming as educators.
Learning Outcomes:
- Identify characteristics of a positive workplace culture
- Identify the implications of a negative workplace culture on staff, children & families
- Understand how behaviours can impact on the workplace and the importance of professionalism to guide our practice
